Astrological Forecast for November 30 to December 6, 2006by Ellen Zucker
This week the march of the planets continues to move from Scorpio to Sagittarius. As we begin the week, only Mercury and Mars remain in Scorpio: we are not quite ready to surrender fully to the holiday cheer.
This is a week of ups and downs. This weekend, Sun clashes with unpredictable Uranus, the planet of upset, breakthrough and surprise. Watch your driving. But also watch for flashes of insight.
The first half of the new workweek brings the Saturn station. Just like Mercury, Saturn slows, stops and pivots backward. Unlike disruptive Mercury, the effect of his backward motion is subtle - instead we are more likely to feel heaviness, a serious overlay the Sagittarian party atmosphere for a day or two. Saturn's influence is a reminder to stay real.
In the past month and going into the mid-summer of 2007, Saturn, ruling structure and often experienced as restriction, has been making a trine aspect to Pluto, planet of power and transformation, an easy exchange of energy between two powerhouses.
Individuals are asked to pare down and get rid of superfluous baggage. Businesses can use this energy to improve the way their basic structures support their philosophy.
As Saturn contacts Mercury on Monday, then Venus on Tuesday, we are asked to consider our words and our values carefully.
Also on Monday we have a full moon. We see results from projects begun two weeks ago.
So, what seeds did you plant then?
In this full moon, Uranus, planet of innovation and surprise is playing a prominent role. On the national level, voters who have forced a change in leadership demand that their leaders carry out their promises to move the country forward.
We end our week on Wednesday with Mars, planet of action entering Sagittarius. Mars comes out of hiding. In Scorpio, maneuvering takes place below the radar. In that sign, Mars is the consummate chess player, patient, biding his time until the right moment to strike. But in Sagittarius, his actions are carried out in an open, direct way.
Daily Forecasts Times listed are based on Eastern Time Zone.
November 30We are forward looking and optimistic today with Moon in Aries making flowing aspects to the Sun, Neptune and Venus. And Venus itself makes an easy aspect to Neptune. We see the glass as half full and tend to give others the benefit of the doubt.
December 1The morning is productive as the Moon flows with Saturn, then Pluto. We want to plunge in and get down to business. Use the afternoon for routine matters as the workweek winds down.
December 2Sun squares Uranus, a clashing aspect that occurs twice a year. Uranus often brings surprises and it doesn't like restriction, so stay mobile and light on your feet.
December 3We still feel yesterday's Sun Uranus square. This afternoon the Moon makes discordant aspects to Saturn and Mars. We chafe at restriction and later in the day, fireworks can erupt.
December 4Mercury squares Saturn. Critical thinking will help us digest the events of the last few days.
December 5Saturn is motionless in the sky today. Responsibilities weigh heavily. It is important to pick and choose our commitments carefully.
December 6Mars has entered Sagittarius, lightening up our mood. Mars' journey through Sagittarius is a good time to engage in athletic activity, socialize and explore.
